How our children learn
Learning for life

At Maiden Lane Community Nursery children learn, develop and grow naturally through play. They explore, make sense of the world, express themselves, become increasingly curious and have fun. We provide a full range of activities drawn from the EARLY YEARS FOUNDATION STAGE curriculum enriched by wider learning experiences and opportunities such as theatre and art gallery trips, outings, seaside visits and even meals in a restaurant.

We believe this broadens children’s horizons and helps them make choices as they take their place in the community later in life. Your child’s daily activities are personalised to meet their interests, our teaching methods are flexible and change as your child’s learning style develops. As an inclusive nursery we all learn together by sharing each other’s cultures.
